Ceramics Kettle Spot Ceramics at Truely Unique
Kettle Spot recently acquired Toisnot Ceramics! Watch for changes monthly at Truely Unique. We will start weekly ceramic painting and firing. You may come in and buy bisque piece or statue to take home and paint. Or you may come in pick your pieces and paint here. Ceramics on display at Truely Unique are ready to paint with any acrylic you’d like and if you’d like to store them outside you can use spray acrylic paint to seal them from weather. If you’d like to glaze your pottery we have 2 kilns to seal your pieces.
Tickets will be sold for Tuesdays and Thursday Evenings, in which for $20.00 dollars you’ll be allotted a 2.5-hour, paint period. All pieces priced with $20.00 dollar ticket in mind, liability waiver required. We supply the paint and sealer if you buy a ticket. Feel free to paint a collection of small pieces or one big ones, since the shop is after hours; please bring your own snacks.
Kettle Spot has always valued putting community first, and given the mission of Kettle Spot to provide plastic free options, it seems the best way to fight plastic statuary is allow the public to paint their own.

Fridays in our new Family Room: Clearing and balancing your Chakras:
Chakra Healing/Balancing every Friday afternoon with Darlene. By appointment or walk-in. Tuning forks, crystals, and/or Reiki energy are used to help clear and balance the energy of the 7 main chakras. A thirty-minute session is $30.00. Also available is a chakra oracle reading session that can focus on a specific chakra. Approximately 10 minutes for $5.00 per Oracle card. Want to meet others with like ideas? Want to share the excess food you grow? We are getting together monthly to talk about tips, ideas, and recipes for saving you money this year. This month we will make flavored oils with our garden herbs. Bring a canning jar or a decorated oil bottle.

Friday, July 11: 5 to PM: Spiritual and Pagan Night Out: FREE Event. Join like-minded people with interest gathering and discussing spiritual interest and more. 5 to 7 PM. This month a look at the crystals carrying them and cleaning them.
Saturday July 12: 1 PM Making Cheese Demonstration with Sam. Come in and see how easy it is to make cheese.
Saturday July 12: 3 PM: Vendors meeting. Local Artist and Vendors come together to strategize best efforts for success whether consigning in the shop or vending at events, let’s unite. This is also to gather and share ideas on how to get your product out and hints and tips. A portion of this meeting will be dedicated to monthly spotlights in the newsletter as well as creating an effort to advertise publicly in town. This meeting will go over shop procedure, marketing products for the year, and allow new vendors to participate. Bring your Qs; we’ll bring the As. Contact Sam for more info and to be included. Tuesday July 22: 12 PM to 5 PM: Reiki 1 with Reiki Master/Teacher Osvaldo Soto. This 5 hour course teaches you to be a Reiki Practitioner 1. You will learn all history, ancestry line, Chakra points, and more. You will get hands on training on how to use Reiki. This is a full class served with lunch. RSVP. $125.00. If you want refresher course; bring Reiki book and certificate along with $30.00. This class is in in our home in Elm City 104 North Pender St. Elm City.
