Classes for 2013 at Truely Unique:
This year we will offer classes in a different way. Below are some of the classes we offer and some of our Instructors offer. This is how it works:
1. You choose the class.
2. Find a few people who want to take the class with you or give us a list of the classes you want to take. We will contact you when we get enough people for a class. We have a book of classes in the store to list which ones you want to take.
3. Pick two days that you can have the class, and let us know we can choose one day that is convenient.
We will create a class for YOU.
Many of our past students are so pleased with our classes. The say they love the expertise, and down to earth teaching methods by each instructor. Almost every class has documents, paperwork you can take home with you. (Many of our students have their own binders to hold all of their classes in.) Our instructors are also available before and after classes for questions, discussions, and private sessions.

Ayurveda Healing Indian Energy Work through Diet and Rituals with Jane Webster of Spiritual Directions NC. Ayurveda (Hindu Life Science associated with yoga, including diet and purification practices) Ayurveda is the traditional medicine of India, which originated there over 5,000 years ago. Ayurveda emphasizes re-establishing balance in the body through diet, lifestyle, exercise, and body cleansing, and on the health of the mind, body, and spirit. Candle Magic – with State of Grace: Candles are an important part of ritual magic. Learn how to pick the right color, shape or type, how to anoint and carve it, and creating candle based spell work. 2 or 3 people $20.00, 4 or more $15.00.
Cemetery Walk with Living Green: Learn about the history of cemeteries, walk a local cemetery and learn to read symbols, signs, and history. A three hour class. 3 people $25.00 each. 4 or more $20.00 each.
Chakra Balancing with Jane Webster: Learn to evaluate your own energy balance by focusing on the energy centers—or chakras—located along your spinal column. Do you feel dried up? Choked? Stagnant? Powerless? Foggy? Out of touch? Adrift? Jane will lead you through a journey of self-discovery, help you to identify imbalances, and teach you ways to restore your balance and keep it! $35.00. Color Therapy – with State of Grace: Learn how to harness the power of color in your spiritual and everyday life. We’ll look at the psychology behind color choices, the magical symbolism of different colors, and create meditation mandalas. 2 or 3 people $20.00, 4 or more $15.00.
Computer Learning Class and Instruction with Osvaldo Soto : Can’t get your computer to work for you? Want to find shortcuts with word, emails etc. He can personalize this class to what you need. Come in and let Osvaldo know what you want to learn and he is here to assist you. One person $15.00 hour, 2 or more Just $10.00 per 1 hour training and learning.
Cooking with Herbs with Living Green: Learn the basics of cooking, many tips for left overs, and what herbs and spices goes with what foods. Class only: 3 people $15.00 each. 4 or more $12.00 each. Class with meal: 3 people $25.00 each. 4 or more $20.00 each.

Crystals 101, An Introduction – Learn the Basics of Crystal use, history and care. with State of Grace:Discover the properties of each crystal and how to find the right one for you. 2 or 3 people $20.00, 4 or more $15.00.
Crystals 102, Care – A more in depth look into caring for and cleansing your crystals, with State of Grace: and hands on demonstration on different ways of cleaning energy from stones. We will also cover the practical aspects of caring for a large stone collection. 2 or 3 people $20.00, 4 or more $15.00.
Crystals 103, Programming – Learn how to program a crystal with specific spiritual and magical intent. With State of Grace:We’ll discuss the best methods for different crystals as well as how to “read” a stone, and try out some exercises to help you feel crystal energy. 2 or 3 people $20.00, 4 or more $15.00.
Crystals 104, Crystal Magic – with State of Grace: This lesson is all about crystals used in religious ceremonies and spells, ranging from good luck charms to love potions. Find the metaphysical properties of each stone, and learn how to craft a crystal based spell. 2 or 3 people $20.00, 4 or more $15.00.
Dream Pillow with Living Green: make your own dream pillow and learn what herbals and fillers work best. 3 people $15.00 each. 4 or more $12.00 each.
EFT: an overview of the Emotional Freedom Technique, Wendy Joy: This is a form of meridian tapping to remove emotional issues and pain. Cost $35.00 (10 or more needs to sign up before we hold a class)

Feng Shui with Jane Webster Literally “wind-water” in English, Feng Shui is the ancient Chinese art of restoring balance to the environment. Jane can help you to determine the best place to find or build a new home, how to position your bed for a good night’s sleep, or place your desk for a productive day. She can evaluate your space so that it communicates what you want it to communicate, such as welcome, peace, or energy. “Intro to Ghosthunting, Scientific and Spiritual” by Andrea of the Ghostcrossers. This class covers: the “Ghostcrossers” business and team, Equipment options, Types of ghosts, Forms of protection and why, light balls, “crossing over”, and ghost hunting etiquette. Heal Yourself Naturally with Special Emphasis on Physical Pain with Wendy Joy This strategy-filled 2 hour workshop will focus on natural energetic and spiritual solutions to illness and physical pain. Herbal Course with Living Green: This is a full course of 7 classes and one-hand on making of lotions, potions, and notions. Classes can be combined in 7 classes or 3 half day classes. Full course is $60.00 for 3 or more people each. 4 or more is $50.00. Certificate when complete.
Herbal and plant recognition Nature Walk with Kay. Walk around the Local Ag Center and learn some of the local wild and garden herbs in the neighborhood. Bring a notebook, camera, and a few Ziploc bags to take herbs home in. 3 people $20.00 each. 4 or more $15.00 each.
An Introduction to Hoodoo – With Candles and Conjure: This class delves into the history of African American based folk magic, called Hoodoo, as well as its modern uses, the basics of hoodoo beliefs, and the magical practices and ceremonies. 2 or 3 people $20.00, 4 or more $15.00.

Incense Making with Osvaldo. Learn the difference between powered, stick and cone incense. Make your own during class. All supplies included. 3 people $20.00 each. 4 or more $15.00 each.
Jelly Making and drying your herbs and foods with Living Green: Hands on class and you will learn all of the tips of making your own jellies and canning. During class you will be cooking and canning. Basic Understanding of Judaism with Sola Dragonhart: Learn the basics of what Jews believe and their holidays. 3 people $20.00 each. 4 or more $15.00 each.
Lenormand 101 Class with Maggie Moon: Lenormand cards are deck of 36 cards used for divination. They are sometimes fondly called “the Lennies”. They read differently than Tarot, they are more literal. They can be read in pairs, or in a line like a sentence. They can also be read in several different configurations or spreads. They offer the reader the ability to be more precise and detailed. They are a modeled after a deck of cards published in 1799 called The Game of Hope. In the mid 19th century, after the death of the famous fortune-teller Marie Anne Lenormand, her name was used on cartomancy decks including a deck of 36 illustrated cards known as the Petit Lenormand or simply Lenormand cards, still used extensively today. $35.00. How to Teach Spirituality, Meditation, & Relaxation at your child’s level with Sola Dragonhart: Learn how to take your beliefs down to your child’s level so they can understand them. Meditation 101 with Living Green: Learn the basics on how to meditation. This class is for beginners and for those who have a hard time relaxing, or just can’t sit still. Numerology – By the Numbers with Maggie Moon: This class will be an interactive workshop working with Numerology. We will look at how Numerology can help us play an active role in our life, looking at compatibility and challenges in relationships and day-to-day events and how we can better work with these vibrations. $30.00 each. Pagan Leadership and organization skills class with Living Green: Everything I learned at the National Pagan Leadership Skills Conference, and my skills at hosting over 35 large events over the years. I will share and pass on to you. 3 people $20.00 each. 4 or more $15.00 each.
Past-Life Regression a workshop with Jane Webster of Spiritual Directions NC. Learn the basics of shamanic journeying to explore your past lives, drawing forward blessings and talents and releasing curses. Identify life themes by tracing their roots. Introduction to Reiki with Reiki Master Teacher Osvaldo Soto: Do you want to know what Reiki is all about? Have you always wanted to take Reiki Classes but are not sure. This introductory class will explain about what Reiki is and what you can expect in each Reiki class this year. Class is $30.00. There is a class February 23rd.
Reiki 1: With Reiki Master Teacher Osvaldo Soto: Full Day Event Learning the history, and hands on training of energy healing techniques. Loosely translated, it means “Spiritually-guided Life Force Energy.” Students will receive a manual and certificate for each level. Class is $100.00 (class needs at least 4 students.)

Maggie Moon Tarot: I am an Endorsed Reader for The Tarot Guild, and a Charter Member of the Gaian Tarot Circle. I am an intuitive Tarot reader and have been reading since the late 1980s. I read for clients online, by phone, email, and in person. I have always found Tarot to be a rich and empowering tool. Sarah Warren is a long time Magical Practitioners and occult store owner. She is a certified Root worker and Conjurer in the Hoodoo tradition. She makes almost all of her own supplies, from hand sewn mojo bag to authentic goofer dust and sachet powders, as well as teaching classes and offering psychic bone readings, based on ancient African fortune telling. She is the owner of ‘Candles and Conjure’ and is known as “Sister Sarah”.

Stephanie Bartlett: I was born and raised in Rocky Mount, NC. I first heard about Wicca when I was in the ninth grade. I was unable to do much studying or research until after I graduated high school. At that time, I began some mild studies and struggled for a while between the two religious paths. In 2005 I married a wonderful man and we are blessed with a son and a daughter. I am also blessed to have two step children as well. My family is very important to me and they have supported me all through my struggles to find myself and my path
I finally decided to follow my own path, in 2009. I joined Witch School and began diving into my studies. I have learned so much through all the classes at Witch School and made some amazing friends along the way. I was finally able to find myself and accept myself for who I truly am. I am still quite active with Witch School and continue my personal studies there. I am also happily involved with and Eclectic Temple that is based out of Crossville, TN. I absolutely love to meet new people and love to teach and study with others. I look forward to getting to know everyone!
Wendy Joy worked for eighteen years as a Speech Language Pathologist in a prestigious brain trauma center. She began having “psychic-like” experiences where she had premonitions, heard guidance, saw angelic energies, became empathic, felt energy and more. Following those experiences, she left her work as a Speech Language Pathologist to pursue writing and open an alternative healing practice. Wendy is a Reiki Master Teacher and is certified in a number of healing techniques—see list below.
She received her bachelor degrees in Psychology and English from Duke University and her master degree in Speech Language Pathology from Rutgers University. A native of New Jersey, Wendy now resides on the North Carolina coast with her husband and two children. She regularly speaks on topics related to healing and the spiritual awakening process. Wendy is passionate about sharing what she knows and helping others awaken and become all they can be.
