We all fall into the rut of making New Year’s Resolutions. Let’s try something else this year.  Before we try to put something positive in our lives we must first get rid of some of our negative things.  Get a shoebox or Amazon box seal it up and decorate it. Cut a slit in the top of the box and you now have your negative box.  EVERY TIME you feel pain, negativity, extreme anger, etc. write it down, and throw it away in your box and your life. Use scrap paper or sticky notes.  Say you are at work and something happens; write it down and when you get home put it in your box. You are now rid of it.  Try this for January and see how you feel.   On the next full moon Saturday, Feb 4^th, Burn your box and get all the bad stuff out of your life.  We will start a fire at the store around 2 PM (weather permitting) so you can bring your box to burn.  Let me know if this is working for you.

Echinacea   (Echinacea augustifolia)

Medicinally: Stimulates the body defense systems against disease. An antibacterial, antiseptic and antiviral herb.  It stimulates the immune system. Echinacea is often used for treatment and prevention of urinary tract infection. It is one of the best blood purifiers.

Caution: To be most effective, take only a few days at a time when needed.

Historically:  Winnebago tribesman put the plant in their mouths before performing a coal ritual. Magicians would wash their hands with Echinacea before plunging them in scalding water. During the 19th century, Echinacea was used as a blood purifier and a treatment for dizziness.

Spiritually:  Strengthens many health spell works. Many native tribes used as an offering to the spirits to ensure strength. Carrying it will provide inner strength in stressful or trying times.

We’ll talk about the properties of several common metals (copper, iron/steel, bronze), discuss how to be intentional using metal magically, and brainstorm ideas on how to be creative adding it into our magical toolbox. We’ll explore examples on creating tools from every day, easy to obtain items. It’s time to expand your magical toolbox with ‘shiny stuff’. He started his blacksmithing journey around 2012 and took to it like a duck to water. His ‘steel and copper rose’ was a finalist in Our State Magazine. The seasonal weekend workshops on Primitive Blacksmithing and Magical Blacksmithing are always full of folks from all over the country. The focal point of his Work is on the magical part of blacksmithing, and he’s currently a full-time primitive magical smith. His Work has been shipped over much of the world. Being a Priest of the Morrigan heavily influences his Work, and his smithy is dedicated to Her. He is very proud to be an Army Veteran and is the author of the newly released book ‘Metal Never Lies: An Introduction to Metal Magic’ (see flyer)

Pop up festival every Saturday starting in October till end of December.
Every Year Truely Unique opens their parking lots so local artist and small businesses may sell their wares throughout the holiday season. This is a great place to buy those one of a kind holiday gifts. For this to be successful; a local artist would go on Facebook and find the event. Post what they have and what days they will be there. Then share it to all of your friends, We will also share it. This way our customers know when you are coming and be there to get Great Gifts. Booths are $10.00.
